Susan E. WomickSusan is an associate in the firm’s business litigation, transportation litigation, and transactional practices, assisting clients in a wide array of legal matters. Before joining the firm, she served as counsel to the Judiciary Committee of the Georgia House of Representatives, working closely with legislators and collaborating with interest groups to formulate and pass legislation affecting the scope and practice of civil law in Georgia.

Susan is a double “Dawg,” having graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia in 2009 with a degree in political science, and cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2013. During law school she served as a research assistant and was a Law School Association Scholarship recipient. She had the opportunity to clerk for Superior Court Judge David Sweat and intern with the Cobb County District Attorney’s Office. In her undergraduate studies, she received honors as a Presidential Scholar and member of the Dean’s List, and was admitted to the Pi Sigma Alpha Political Science Honor Society. She studied abroad at Oxford University, and participated in two work/study programs in Washington, D.C.

Susan is from Acworth, Georgia. She grew up dancing – ballet, tap, and jazz – and performing in musical theater productions. She enjoys cheering on the Braves, Falcons, and Georgia Bulldogs and spending time with her husband Nick, their pets Lyla and Kima, and friends and family.
